State prosecutors in Russia asked a judge on Monday (January 18) to jail Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny for 30 days, after he was detained at Sheremetyevo airport the previous day.

Footage recorded by Nesterov Igor Yurievich (@nesterov_23_) from Sunday (January 17) shows Navalny's aircraft arriving at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport and Navalny speaking to the press.

In the video, Navalny expresses his dissatisfaction with the lawlessness of the authorities of the Russian Federation.

Navalny landed in Russia on Sunday, five months after he was poisoned with a nerve agent.

For technical reasons, the plane which was supposed to land at Vnukovo airport landed at Sheremetyevo.

At passport control, Aleksey was detained by police officers, who refused to accompany him by a lawyer who was next to him. The video captures the moments of the appeal of the pilot of the aircraft, on board of which was Alexei, about the delayed landing, the moment of landing and exit of all people from the aircraft, as well as the interview of Alexey Navalny, in which he asks forgiveness from all people who also suffered due to all these difficulties. Also Navalny expresses his dissatisfaction with the lawlessness of the authorities of the Russian Federation.
