Rescue teams were seen searching for a missing person after Taquiña River overflowed following heaving rain in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

According to reports, a vehicle was washed away by flooding, killing one person. A second person was first believed to be in the vehicle, prompting rescue efforts.

It was later confirmed that only one person was in the vehicle.

The incident happened on January 17.

A search was made for an alleged body as a result of a vehicle dragged by the overflow of a river in the department of Cochabamba.
The SAR-Bolivia rescue group began search and rescue operations in the waters to find a missing person, according to inquiries from people who helped rescue the victim from the vehicle. The rescue group combed the river to search for the body.
A deceased person was rescued inside the vehicle, he was sitting in the front passenger seat. It was presumed that the pilot of the vehicle was dragged by the river. Later it was confirmed that the deceased was alone.
