US, Phoenix: Phoenix 35th Avenue Extrication Crash
Phoenix, United States - January 24, 2026 01/23/2026 05:30 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, the Phoenix Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of North 35th Avenue and West Cactus Road for a vehicle collision requiring extrication. Upon arrival, units found two vehicles with heavy front-end damage. After doing a triage, firefighters found the female driver of a Ford Mustang to be trapped, requiring extrication by firefighters. Firefighters cut her out of the vehicle and transported the patient to a local hospital in serious condition. The Phoenix Police Department was on the scene to determine the cause of the crash. Traffic was diverted to just north of the incident as police conducted their investigation.
