YouTuber casts gold GameStop logo amid Wall Street controversy
A YouTuber from the UK decided to create a 24-carat GameStop logo amid the recent Wall Street controversy.
Footage from January 28 shows YouTuber Whathowwhy demonstrate how he cast the 24-carat logo.
First, he 3D prints a mould of the logo, putting it in a mould box made from foamboard and covering every single crevice of it with a silicone mix.
The silicone mix is not heated at all and is distributed in the box using an air gun.
After the silicone sets, the new cast is made and it is ready for gold powder mixed with resin. Coating the mould with the powder then adding the mix.
The mix then hardens with ready to be removed and polished.
Whathowwhy told Newsflare: "After investing in and watching the craziness of the last few weeks with GameStop I decided to mark the occasion with my first ever 24ct-gold cold cast GameStop print.
"3D modelling the logo and printing it, we then cast it in silicone and finally in 24ct real gold powder."
