This model DeLorean from the "Back to the Future" franchise has now been hovering for over two years.

Footage shows the replica model spinning and hovering with the use of magnets on both the DeLorean and the plate beneath it.

The video garnered 37,000 upvotes on Reddit, reaching the front page.

The owner said: "I only just realized that that was two years ago and the toy has been floating/hovering that entire time.

"It is still hovering, now I don't want to touch it because I'm genuinely curious how long this can go on for.

"Is this a lifelong thing happening here time-commitment-wise or not even close, Any guesses?

"Maybe I should blow on it to change the speed of the spin?

"I wonder how many hover-spins it has made in two years, I wonder many things...

"Also, it's dusty and there's nothing I can do about it.

"I have to think that it will most likely end it's Reign of Hover when somebody knocks into it or something...

"Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of our lives, I think it'll all come down to a human error...

"Without human interaction, this thing is in a straight-up superposition.
