A cool video has emerged of a group of friends enjoying a ‘polar bath’ carved into deep ice in a Canadian forest.

The footage, captured in the countryside near Mont-Tremblant, QC, Canada earlier this month, shows three brave volunteers lowering themselves into the freezing water.

“We wanted to challenge ourselves so we took a polar bath in the middle of the forest,” the filmer later wrote online.

“It was -20 degrees Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit). We had to walk in waist high snow to get there. We made a little fire to get warm and went in the water. Fun times, and nobody got sick after,” he added.

Me (Yann Bissonnette) and my friends Abla and Vince wanted to challenge ourselves. So we went near Mont-Tremblant, Qc Canada to take a polar bath in the middle of the forest. It was -20 degrees celsius (-4 Farenheigth). We had to walk in weist high snow to get there. We made a little fire to get warm and went in the water. Fun times, and nobody got sick after!
