Over 1,400 were arrested as protests erupted across Moscow after Alexei Navalny was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

Footage from February 2 shows police detaining a protester as well as officers in riot gear patrolling the streets.

Navalny's supporters rallied near the courthouse where he was sentenced.
