'A tear-jerking example of true love and loyalty is shown in this clip.

After a chimney collapsed on Erin Field in July 2017, she suffered a C5 spinal cord injury. At that time, she had been dating Jack for barely four months.

Whether she thought that her boyfriend would leave her or not doesn't matter because Jack ended up staying by her side through thick and thin.

Recalling her courageous story, Erin stated: "We (her and Jack) had only been hanging around for four months and then I got a c5 spinal cord injury. Jack never left my side. I told him he didn't have to stay but we went back to college together, graduated in 2018, moved in together, got two puppies, and now over three years later, he is still the love of my life."

Despite incurring a life-changing injury, Erin still remains full of positivity: "Life may not have gone the way I intended it to go…but I think I’ve ended up where I needed to be."
