Awe-Inspiring 3D Anamorphic Portrait of Tomáš Baťa
An incredible video has surfaced of a visual artist creating an anamorphic portrait of Tomáš Baťa in the most Tomáš Baťa way imaginable.
Recorded in Prague, Czech Republic, this time-lapse features Patrik Prosko completing a 3D Anamorphosis drawing of Tomáš Baťa. The most fascinating thing about this art is that the portrait in question is made out of shoes.
The filmer wrote: "This is my anamorphic installation from 2019 that I wanted to display at the Illusion Art Museum Prague."
"Baťa had just returned from traveling, and as he flipped his suitcase full of shoes, the shoes started spilling out of it, and in this chaotic scene, he was able to see himself," said the artist when asked to explain the story behind this stunning portrait.
"My artistic goal was to create a spatially-spaced portrait as an impressionist painting from the right angle, where every shoe is like a brushstroke," the artist added.
This impressive piece of footage was filmed on June 4, 2019.
Name: Patrik Prosko
