Urban oasis Al Azhar Park Entrance Show Cairo, Egypt
Al-Azhar Park, Cairo was created by the Historic Cities Support Program of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. The park opened for sightseeing to the general public in the year 2005. Since then, the Al-Azhar Park has been fascinating people from all over the world with its beautiful plantations, terraced gardens, water fountains, Mamluk stonework comprising of multi-colored stones, children play areas, a few restaurants, a lake, etc.
Very nominal entry fee is applicable. I think it is better to visit the Park before noon, because the park gets overcrowded afterward.
