Recorded in Perth, Western Australia on January 4, 2021, this video features an out-of-control jet ski wreaking havoc while not having a single person on it.

The filmer of this video, Jordan Greaves, told us what it was like to witness such an event unfolding in front of her very eyes. She said: "I heard a loud motor sound and thought that someone was having fun on their jet ski. However, the noise kept getting louder and louder. I poked my head out of the cockpit and saw an abandoned tender revving around like crazy. It was almost as if a ghost was driving it. "

The filmer added: "Before I could even comprehend what was happening, a boat comes in and attempts to run over the out of control ‘ghost’ tender to stop it from going crazier. With that failing, dad quickly ran to the back locker and grabbed out the boat hook for the guys on the boat to try and hook the tender but instead, they hooked the motor handle and straightened it, causing the ghost tender to get crazier."

Eventually, a grappling hook proved to be the key to stopping the motor.
