France: Thousands Join Carnival In Marseille Amid COVID-19 Pandemic 2
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown in parts of the country, thousands joined the carnival hosted in Marseille on Sunday. This event was undeclared and was criticized as irresponsible when it was a hard time for the whole country.
About 6,500 people attended the event, and most of them didn’t wear masks. 9 people were arrested during the celebration.
