Evacuation from a ski lift on Italian mountain
Further dramatic footage has emerged of a ski lift being evacuated on a mountain in Italy.
The video, captured from one of the stuck cable cars, shows emergency crews conducting the rescue operation after an accident shut down the lift at the Val Gardena ski resort in Italy on Thursday.
Writing online about the experience, the filmer said, "There was bad weather and strong wind. A pine tree fell on the cables and the lifts stopped. We had fun in the air for 1.5 hours and for an additional half hour as we were evacuated. Everything was organised at the highest level - fire fighters, and ambulance crews. It was a lot of fun being evacuated and this adventure made our day.
