Video: woman slapped and kicked a priest who was giving a Holy Week mass in San Cristóbal, Venezuela
On video was the unexpected attack on a priest in San Cristóbal, Venezuela. The victim, the priest José Lucio León, received a strong slap from a woman who he claims has mental disorders.
The incident was recorded at the time when a liturgical ceremony was being held on the occasion of Holy Thursday and was broadcast live on social networks.
The aggressor, before giving the priest a loud slap, said: "You heard who I am."
Those attending the ceremony were dismayed at the irrational act. The timely intervention of several parishioners prevented the aggression from continuing.
Due to the aggression, the priest had to leave the ceremony momentarily and the woman was expelled from the temple.
