Police cordon at the time of the bank robbery and hostage-taking in Tbilisi, Georgia

An unknown armed man broke into a branch of the Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi and took visitors and staff hostage.
The bank's branch is located in the Avlabari district of the capital, in a building where renovation works are underway. This video shows the work of the Georgian police, who cordoned off the building and are trying to find out all the details of what happened. According to eyewitnesses, there were no sounds of gunfire in the area of the building.
As a result, the invader of the Bank of Georgia branch in Tbilisi was detained.
