Woman seen using ladder to escape Bank of Georgia hostage situation
A woman has been seen using a ladder to escape the Bank of Georgia hostage situation in Zugdidi on Wednesday (October 21).
Footage shows one person climbing down a ladder on the side of the building while many wait at the top.
Police and authorities have cordoned off the area with armed officers on the scene, where the gunman is demanding a $500,000 ransom.
One eyewitness testimony said that the attackers have not released employees, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not commented on this.
