A video has emerged from northern Vietnam showing tourists braving a terrifying mountain thoroughfare known locally as "the road of death."

The footage filmed on the March 7 shows the intrepid tourists navigating the incredibly narrow track with sheer drops of thousands of feet to one side on a motorbike.

According to local sources, the road near Hà Giang is barely wide enough for two motorbikes and many have plunged off the side over the years.

According to the filmer, the road is located on the high mountains in northwestern Vietnam. The road is known as the road of death with its narrowness as well as a deep abyss and many dangerous curves. A lot of people were dropped in the deep abyss below.
To reach the top of the mountain they have to cross this road. The path was the only entry used by the villages up in the mountain.
The road has barely fit two motorbikes and on one side is an abyss thousands of meters deep.
Tourists said this was the most unforgettable feeling when they crossed the road. They have a feeling of fear when entering the curves with the narrow road and beside the abyss.
