The Shadow Street in Düsseldorf is the biggest shopping mile in the entire city. Usually, many people are gathering here and are strolling from store to store. This place has never been this empty before, as I have been the only human being in the entire street.

For urban and rural counties that have exceeded a 7-day incidence of 100 for three consecutive days, curfew restrictions have been in effect between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. since April 24. Outdoors alone are allowed until midnight. The 7-day incidence indicates how many new coronavirus infections there were per 100,000 population within a week.

In addition to the emergency brake, the Corona ordinances of the federal states continue to apply, which can even be stricter on individual points. In Bavaria, for example, no walking in the fresh air is permitted after 10 p.m. either.
