Mend the Clay Figure with Putty and Polish it with Sandpaper

Whether dried in the shade or fired in the furnace, solid clay figures are different from hollow pottery and porcelain. Without expanding room, the dilated air will result in the cracks in the clay figure, making the mending process indispensable.

During the mending process, the putty will get into the cracks and combine with the clay seamlessly. The overflow of the putty needs to be wiped away.
