A Filipino man drew an amazing replica of the iconic Last Supper painting using only ballpoint pens and a shopping receipt.

James Abayon Lolo, 21, took two days to finish the masterpiece in Davao de Oro province, the Philippines on February 17.

He said: ‘I used the line drawing technique. I thought of using discarded materials to help conserve nature.

‘I am very happy and thankful to those who appreciate my work. Because of them, I can support my family daily expenses and the tuition of my sister.’

The Last Supper is a late 15th-century mural painting by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci housed by the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy.
