At about 5 pm on Sunday a Mercedes headed south on Folsom near 22nd st., was surrounded by between 5 and 6 motorcycles. The Mercedes hit one of the motorcycles, knocking it and the driver over. At this time the remaining motorcycles came back to the car, one getting very close and firing a gun directly into the driver's side of the vehicle. Witnesses say they heard between 9 and 12 bullet rounds before hearing and seeing the motorcycles speed away from the scene. The driver of the Mercedes was transported to the hospital. The driver's condition is currently unknown. SFPD marked off Folsom from 22nd st to 20th st for investigation. Currently, no description of the suspected shooter or motorcycle has been released to the public.
