This toddler didn't know how to react as his dad revealed his new clean-shaven look.

Vishnupriya Ayyappan, based in San Diego, filmed her son's reaction as he saw his father's new look.

She said: "My husband wanted to shave his beard off. My second baby had never seen a clean-shaven dad. So, I wanted to capture his expression when he saw his father without his facial hair for the very first time.

"I never thought my most mischievous son would be so stunned."

The rib-tickling footage, filmed by Vishnupriya Ayyappan, shows her son's epic reaction as he sees his father clean-shaven for the first time in his life.

The new look appears to be a lot to take in for the youngling named Saathvik as he stands in shock for a couple of minutes before giving his mom a hug.

The mom added: "I never thought my most mischievous son would be so stunned."

While the little one tries to stay away from his dad initially, it takes him a day to let bygones be bygones.
