A group of Indian women performed yoga while maintaining social distancing on Sunday 20 June, the eve of International Yoga Day.

The practice was held at a garden in Beawar in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

International Yoga Day is on 21 June and is designed to promote the activity and its benefits for physical and mental health.

The International Day of Yoga presents an occasion to underline the health benefits of Yoga, and motivate the public to take up the pursuit of Yoga. Indian government announced special theme for the International Yoga Day 2021 is ‘Yoga for Wellness'.
