Hong Kong: Heavy Police Presence On Hong Kong SAR Establishment Day 2
A huge police presence was observed at Hong Kong's major districts today as the city marks Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day. Today coincidentally is also the 100th year anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party.
Tight security was implemented after police invoked the Public Order Ordinance at noon to quell unauthorized protests on the 24th anniversary of the city’s return to Chinese sovereignty. A few people were reportedly arrested in Causeway Bay for disorderly conduct.
The third clip shows police arresting and taking away a young man.
