Meet the athlete who shows off seemingly superhuman feats with his incredible trick shots.

Davide Panzeri is a master of both indoor and outdoor tricks covering sports such as baseball, soccer, basketball and tennis.

His feats include bouncing ping pong balls accurately into two spinning hydro flasks, kicking a soccer ball from a roof across court into a basket and even getting two basket balls into a basket using a shovel.

Davide has become so popular on TikTok that the platform has asked him to perform promoted live videos.

The 32-year-old Canadian Italian, who shoots most of his videos near his current home in Vaprio D’adda, Milan, said: “Trick shots are sometimes scoffed at by some people.

"They say anyone can achieve a goal after enough tries but what they don’t realisze is that the results are extremely beneficial.

“I could have never completed the tricks I am doing now even six months ago, I couldn't even think of them, never mind doing them.

"You develop the skills and ideas as you go, and if I were to go back and do my older tricks I would likely complete them all in 80 per cent less time than it took me initially.

“A lot of practice and patience is required. Mainly because you are trying something that defies the odds.

“Especially at the start I am usually way off target and it's easy to get discouraged.”

Davide stresses that luck is involved, but there can be no luck without hard work. That is what has helped him improve his coordination, mindset, and athleticism.

“It took me 14.5 hours - my longest one so far - divided in eight days to shovel two basketballs from half court.

"The shot was technically and mentally very draining. Thankfully I do most of my shots on live shows in front of thousands so that gives me a reason to keep going.

“Another thing that keeps me going is getting close, I just know that it can happen when I start getting close.

“In the shovel shot I figured out on day seven that I had to hold the handle a bit closer to the shovel. This allowed me to get more height, once I figured that out I got the shot the next day.

"If I were to try this again I could probably do it within 2-3 hours, as I developed a new skill.

“My secret is to do things that are out of this world such as double basketballs, flick a basketball and bat it in, shots from roofs, bicycle kicks in the rain in a hoop and so on.”

Davide says that trick shots saved his life and that the focus on his craft helped him combat intense depression after he was almost killed by an allergic reaction to anti-depressants.

Trick shots have now become his new life.

“While doing this I have something to focus on as I continue to heal and I can inspire others that 'impossible is in our minds' and that we can achieve anything if we keep trying,2 he said.

“Most people are genuinely mind blown at what I can do. I really try and come up with tricks which defy the odds."
