Jason Ostrander, the filmer, said: "Caught this mothership/storm moving toward me from Grimes, Iowa, to Des Moines with a DJI Phantom 3 Pro. And if you think this scene is intense, let me tell you that these big, dark clouds came with a 2.5-inch hail.

"The hail was undoubtedly baseball-sized. Those pieces were really capable of doing a lot of damage."
