I love designing on a budget! This video shows projects that were done at a house we were flipping as well as our personal home. I wanted to add some character to the space, but also keep it neutral for the new owners to be able to add their personal touches. I stayed with the grey, white, and wood tones.

My friends and family though the video showed a variety of different DIY projects that I had done.

This clip shows how we made a kitchen island, using cabinets and Shiplap. We used three drawers base cabinets and attached them together. We built out an additional 6 inches to add more depth and finished it off by adding Shiplap.

My DIY tip is “You can do it!” You are not going to be perfect at the beginning. I make mistakes on a daily basis. Sometimes I even like my mistakes more than my original idea! Worst case is you can take it down and start over!
