'Cars & Houses Submerged in Floodwater as Situation in Chiplun gets Worse'
'Dramatic footage emanating from Chiplun, Maharashtra, India shows the city in deep water... literally.
"This video was taken on 22nd July when Chiplun was hit by a heavy flood," the filmer, Jiten Pimputkar told us. "I took this video to notify the higher authorities about the seriousness of this disaster."
Jiten added: "When I filmed this, the situation was on track to becoming worse than what the floods did here in 2005."
The cars and even the houses (to a certain extent) can be seen submerged in floodwater.
