Smoke of Siberian wildfires blanketed regional capital of Ulan-Ude

The video was filmed on Mount Tapkhar, the area is also called the headquarters of Genghis Khan, 30 km from Ulan-Ude in the Ivolginsky district of the Republic of Buryatia.
Tourists from Sakha-Yakutia arrived by minivan from Yakutsk. As the tourists said, the smog from the Yakut fires accompanied them all the way from Yakutsk to Ulan-Ude.
A difficult situation remains in Yakutia, where the largest area of forest fires in Russia. In some cities of the republic, due to the smoke, it was necessary to limit air traffic. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 1.1 million hectares of forest are on fire.
