A big brother greeted his younger sibling off the school bus in different fancy dress every day for six months to make him smile.

Noah Tingle, 17, wanted to make memories with his little brother Max Tingle, 12, before he headed off to Louisiana State University.

The teen decided to dress up one day to surprise Max as the school bus dropped him off outside their home in Central, Louisiana.

After being entertained by Max's reaction, Noah committed to dressing up every day to surprise him -- for six months.

Noah said: "It was my senior year of high school and I got home earlier than my brother so I just decided to put on something silly and wait for him to get off the bus.

"At first he wasn’t sure what was going on and what to think about it, but after a few times, I just cracked him up.

"I love doing stuff to make my little brother laugh and since I had planned to head off to college the next year, I wanted to make some great memories with him."

Noah's first few dress ups were made from pieces he found around the house but as word spread of his bus project, locals started donating costumes for him to wear.

Noah dressed up as Batman, The Joker, Santa Claus, Chewbacca and Buzz Lightyear.

He even transformed himself into a taco, a hula girl, a dinosaur, a nun and a bacon rasher.

Noah said: "My first proper costume was a clown costume and my favourite costume was the blow-up sumo wrestler.

"Max loved when I was Chewbacca. I’ll never forget the surprise on his face when he saw me still standing outside in the pouring rain - that’s the day his point of view on this shifted.

"He saw how much it meant to me and how much he means to me and realized it was more than just a goofy joke.

"He finally put together the fact that this was my way to make some memories before I head out for college.

"I wasn't sure where I was going for college or if I’d be still living at home, so I figured better be safe than sorry and make some memories."

Noah had planned to keep up his costumes until the day he left high school but the coronavirus pandemic sadly put a stop to the school run.

He has since graduated from Central High School and although his senior year wasn't as he planned thanks to Covid, he'll always have these videos from 2019 and 2020 to look back on.

These videos were filmed throughout 2019 - 2020.
