Uruguay reached 70% of its population this week with the second dose of the vaccine and there are already 500,000 people scheduled to take the third booster dose recommended by the Government. In this way, Uruguay is getting closer to the long-awaited "herd immunity." Since vaccination began, cases have dropped substantially and Uruguay is returning to normal. In recent days there have been almost no deaths from Covid-19.
