HMS Severn was seen departing the Thames from Sheerness in Kent on 1 Sept after being recommissioned in London.

The ship has been 'bought back from the dead' after being originally being retired back in 2017.

This is the first time a Royal Navy vessel has been brought back into service since the Falklands conflict in 1982.

The ship now also features a special 'dazzle' camouflage scheme, the first navy ship painted this way since 1945.
