Green heron catch and swallows an African clawed frog
On a morning safaris drive in the Kruger National Park, we stopped at the Nsemani dam and spotted a green heron on the hunt. The water was very murky so I was not sure who had the upper hand. The fish and frogs or the green heron. The next moment the green heron caught a Common platanna (African clawed frog) and can be seen trying paralyze the frog before attempting to swallow the frog.
