Protesters dancing around a bonfire right in the center of Bangkok, Thailand
This footage was filmed and produced 2 September 2021.
Thousands have called for the resignation of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-oha and said they will return every day until he leaves. The demonstration in downtown Bangkok was one of the largest this year, despite police warnings that protests were banned due to coronavirus restrictions. Protests against Prayut have gained traction since late June as groups that have demanded his removal in the past year, returned with wider support from people unhappy with the worsening situation with the coronavirus.
The video shows protesters dancing around a bonfire right in the center of Bangkok. Also they burning the mock corpses that represent the people who have died from covid19.
