'The September 11, 2021 football game between the Miami Hurricanes and App State Mountaineers at Hard Rock Stadium, has been all over the news because during the match, a group of fans saved a cat that fell from the upper deck.

This footage, filmed by Ethan Gany, shows the said rescue mission taking place and the crowd's tremendous reaction to it.

Ethan wrote: "The cat was dangling from the upper deck, although I’m still unsure how it got in. The fans with the American flag took notice of it and began to use the flag as a makeshift net."

"After hanging for a good 8 minutes, the cat finally fell. Thankfully, the net broke the fall and someone below was able to catch it. The entire students' section, where I was sitting, erupted into cheers."
