The new eruption of Mount Etna against the backdrop of plantations in Sicily, Italy
This footage was filmed and produced 21 September 2021.
Sicilian volcano Etna - the largest volcano in Europe - on Tuesday threw a column of ash to a height of 9 km. It is reported by the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. "Experts in the morning are observing the release of ash from the southeastern crater," the institute said on Twitter. Volcanologists have also reported a lava fountain. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology has issued a red flight warning, but so far the ash release has not affected the operation of the international airport in Catania.
The video shows a volcanic eruption against the backdrop of plantations. People are watching him and filming on their phones.
