Fridays for Future protests kick off in Hamburg, Germany

Thousands of protesters, marched in Hamburg to demand "no more excuses" from politicians as Germans prepare to head to the polls. Fridays for Future protests are being held across Germany as climate activists seek to make their voices heard ahead of the country's federal election on Sunday. Aside from Hamburg, protests are also taking place in Berline, Freiburg, Cologne and Bonn. The demonstrations in Germany are just one part of a worldwide climate strike that includes 1,400 events in 80 countries.
