A bizarre video has emerged of “eerie” noises in the skies above a town in British Columbia, Canada earlier this month.

In the footage, captured by a resident in Terrace on Tuesday, long creaking sounds can be heard in the distance.

“Loud eerie noises heard in Terrace. I started hearing it slightly, very faint - it lasted a minute or less - lucky I had my phone in my hand to catch it,” the filmer later wrote online, while highlighting a similar recording by another Terrace resident in August 2013.

“There are so many theories floating around…I believe in global warming / radiation emissions,” she added.
