Artist pours paint over furniture to create DIY marble-like pattern
An artist based in Henderson, Nevada, pours paint over furniture to create a DIY marble-like effect.
Kristen creates the patterns by a method she calls the "dump cup" where she pours the paint over the unit and lets it run.
She said: "I use a painting method called dump cup to create my beautiful ocean abstracts on furniture.
"My dad worked in a cabinet shop for years, built our cribs even, and I would always find myself out in the garage with him while he spent hours sanding down and staining and top coating so many different pieces over the years.
"My love for art allowed me to combine the two into creating beautiful coastal furniture."
