The Governors of New York and New Jersey have declared a state of emergency as a Nor'easter storm brings severe weather warnings of flash floods, torrential rainfall and high-speed winds.

Flash flood warnings were issued Monday evening and will continue into Wednesday, along with cautions of intense thunderstorms and severe gusts of winds.

Footage filmed in New York City by Kevin Clamato on Monday night (25/10) shows heavy rainfall.

The warnings come just weeks after Hurricane Ida caused havoc in the NYC area.

This video was filmed on the 25th October 2021.
