RDU airport had a power outage due to a water leak on their main terminal. Flights were delayed well over two hours. They had to manually pat down people, and manually go though checked bags. It was hot, people were upset, there was lots of confusion and panic due to connecting flights also being effected. One person in the line near me called Delta airlines and they hadn’t heard of the outage and their flights were showing on time. People had to get out of the line, change flights, change airlines, until they were updated last minute and then they started delaying their flights. This video was taken at 5:58 11/12/21 am. I arrived at the airport at 4:30am for a 6 am flight and was in line over 2 hours. I flew United and once we were past TSA our flight was one of the firsts to leave, with what was a full flight ever row had empty seats. We eventually landed at 10:15 am. Where then people were fussing off the plan to try to make connecting flights. What a travel day!!
