A power outage caused flight delays and disrupted operations at an airport in Taiwan.

Footage shows passengers walking through a dark corridor after the electricity went out at Terminal 2 of the Taoyuan International Airport, at around noon today, March 12.

Check-in services and security X-ray machines were inoperable, causing long lines at the departure hall.

Backup generators were activated around 15 minutes later, while parts of the terminal still remained dark. Full power was restored by 1:13 pm local time.

The Taoyuan International Airport Corporation said the outage affected multiple floors and a parking lot.

Authorities said the cause of the blackout was under investigation.
