$8.4 Million Art installation of a Giant Spinning Chandelier in Vancouver BC, Canada
This footage was filmed and produced 13 November 2021.
This public art installation in downtown Vancouver is a giant Chandelier which lights up and spins every hour. The expense was controversial for hanging a chandelier under a bridge as many locals did not appreciate the art of it and instead the money spent (by a local developer) could have been better used to help social service charities. The cost of this installment was $8.4 million CAD. Made even more controversial was the fact that it hangs over a former homeless encampment.
