'Guatemala's Fuego Volcano eruption leaves hikers awe-struck '
'A group of hikers was impressed beyond all reason as they watched a volcano erupt.
Jaw-dropping footage filmed by Peter Huynh shows Guatemala's Fuego Volcano sending a colossal cloud of ash into the air.
"We filmed this from a base camp on an adjacent dormant volcano called Volcán de Acatenango," Peter shared. "To get to the said base camp, you have to hike 3.5 - 5 hours up to an altitude of 3600m/11,811ft, depending on your abilities and body's adaptation to altitude.
"Eruptions happen about every 20 minutes, which didn't allow me to enjoy an uninterrupted sleep because our A-frames kept shaking."
This magnificent scene was recorded on October 21, 2021.
Name: Peter Huynh
Location: Volcán de Fuego, Guatemala
