UK driver accused of 'pushing in queue' explains on TikTok why cars aren't using lanes properly in genius way

A UK motorist has gone viral explaining the awful driving of others in this hilarious TikTok from November 15.

In the funny video, Shaun from Newcastle upon Tyne explains why motorists should actually be using two lanes during a typical morning rush-hour on the A1056 road as he headed west to east. He blames drivers for creating the traffic jam by sticking to one lane.

Posting on TikTok as @Jobbertek, he says in the video: "There's many people in this mass gathering of the dimwit department going, 'Oh he's pushing in,' but if they were driving properly as they should do, there'd be two queues of traffic with equal length."

He then goes into a further detail, seen here with his own reaction video to his viral TikTok.

“I knew it would get the kind of reaction it had," Shaun explains on camera. "It’s not about increasing the speed or how quickly you get through it, it’s about getting more cars into that section of road so that it doesn’t block junctions and slip roads behind.

“All the driving instructors I know are like, ‘Always use both lanes up until the merge point.’"

Shaun later told Newsflare: "I currently work [in] tech support for a Saas company at the moment but previously was a claim handler and then learning and development co-ordinator for a major motor insurer for a decade, hence the general theme of my Tiktok being driving, RTC liability, rules of the road etc. if someone posts a crash my I’ll generally get a dozen of my followers tagging me for my opinion."
