Adorable sugar gliders whose tiny costumes and outdoor antics have shot them to viral fame
TikTok's favourite pair of sugar gliders have earned themselves a huge following with their adorable antics in the park and tiny costumes.
Videos of Leucitic sugar gliders, one-year-old Rose and 11-month-old Winston, soaring about are taken by owner David Ahlzadeh Jr.
David, from West Deptford, New Jersey, USA, loves nothing more than sharing his bright white rodents with their adoring 450,000 fans.
He said: “Rosie’s favourite thing to do is explore, while Winston really enjoys staying active by running on the wheel all night and gliding all around the room.
"They will bark at you when they want attention or are hungry, it sounds like a little chihuahua.
"They’re almost like a dog, cat and flying monkey put together.
"Their little yawn is the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen.”
He receives a fair amount of comments accusing him of being a bad pet owner, but knows they are perfectly legal pets and not endangered.
He said: "I want to change the stigma around Sugar Gliders and share my experience with people so they get to see what I see.
"I think they’re unbelievable animals and can make amazing pets when taken care of correctly."
