Australians protest against Covid restrictions, in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane
Protesters returned to the streets of Australian cities on Saturday 4 December, to oppose Covid restrictions.
The rally drew together people with a variety of causes, from opposition to government restrictions and corporate vaccine mandates, to people who doubt the science of vaccines themselves.
In Melbourne, protesters took over the entrance of the city's ABC studios. Some protesters believe the media conspires with the government to promote Covid restrictions.
In Sydney, hundreds of people also marched to, among other things, oppose the state's pandemic bill, which was passed earlier this week.
And in Brisbane, people sang "We will rock you" as they marched the streets.
