Shocking footage shows the damage caused by multiple deadly tornados in Kentucky which have left hundreds dead
This is the moment residents assessed the damage to their community after a swarm of deadly tornados tore through Kentucky - destroying everything in their path.
The US state was battered by the tornadoes on December 10 which have left hundreds dead and thousands homeless.
Video footage taken in Creekside, Bowling Green, shows the devastation left behind after mother nature ripped through the community.
All that remains of family homes and businesses is piles of rubble, as residents can be seen processing the extent of the destruction which surrounds them.
Cameraman Thomas Rigsby, 28, from Bowling Green, Kentucky, said: "Luckily it missed us because I live a few miles outside of town.
"Tragically other members of the community have not been so fortunate and I have many friends and family who have lost everything.
"It looks like a warzone out here right now - nothing was spared."
President Joe Biden has since declared the incident as a major federal disaster.
The video footage was filmed at 8am on December 11.
