A bizarre recording has emerged of strange sounds heard in the skies above Acatzingo, Puebla, Mexico.

In the footage, captured from an apartment in the city late last month, long booming sounds echo through a residential neighbourhood.

According to local reports, scientists have noticed underground movements, which might explain the noises, but have reassured local residents that they are not at any risk.
