A herd of lucky bovines has become the talk of the town in northern India's Rajasthan after receiving first-class treatment when they were adopted by a human family.

Visuals shot on January 3 at the home of Prem Singh Kachhwah in Subhash Nagar, Jodhpur, show one cow climbing into a bed and settling down, as a woman covers it with a shawl while giving it a good rub.

The three cows and a one-year-old calf reside with the family and are disciplined to a level where they excrete at a specified spot instead of littering in the house.
